The Platforms course focuses on the need to use the various platforms to publicize and disseminate the product and reach target audiences more effectively and efficiently. Starting by defining a general strategy, it will then cover how to have a relevant presence on social networks, how to manage them and how to choose the most appropriate content for each case. At the same time, it is essential to understand how to use platforms for marketing and advertising, and to identify best practices.

Competencies after completing the course
B-Digital Media Program and Courses have been designed to provide a complete experience for participants, regardless of their level of knowledge, combining theoretical and practical components in a balanced way. The effectiveness of the training lies not only in the transmission of theoretical knowledge, but also in the practical application of these concepts in a real context on the scale of the regional press, where obtaining and analyzing the results of each project will deserve special attention, since it is on obtaining results that everyone's efforts should be focused. As such, at the end of this course, trainees should have obtained skills in the fundamental elements of executing a digital transition, understanding how to redefine product and target audience, being aware of the needs of their community, being able to identify multiplatform content, knowing applicable AI tools, and applying best practices.
Course Curriculum
About the Instructors

Ana Possas
Ana Possas is a journalist, specialist in strategic communication and digital marketing (including AI) and has a master's degree in Culture and Communication. She works as a consultant and mentor in communication and marketing and facilitates courses in the area. She has more than 18 years of professional experience and several authorial projects. These include creating an interview podcast called Ouvidorama and writing a fortnightly newsletter under her name.

José Moreno
José Moreno has a degree in Social Communication from ISCSP-UTL, a master's degree in Communication, Culture and Information Technologies from ISCTE-IUL and is currently studying for a PhD in Communication Sciences at the same institution, studying issues relating to digital information and communication technologies. He has been a journalist since 1992, working as a writer, editor-in-chief and director of weekly and monthly titles in the specialized press. For the last six years he has been responsible for developing the digital area at Motorpress Lisboa, preparing and training newsrooms in the use of digital information and communication technologies. He has been a trainer at Cenjor since 2017.
