Who
Participants from the Western Balkans (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia) and the Eastern Partnership regions (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine) can apply.
Applicants from one of the Eastern Partnership (EaP) or Western Balkans (WB) countries should have at least two V4 countries involved in their projects and at least one other EaP/WB country. The exception is given to participants from Ukraine: they only need to have two partners from a different V4 country each.
What
The Visegrad Fund accepts applications for Visegrad+ grants that support projects contributing to the democratization and transformation processes.
Eligibility
To apply for Visegrad+ Grants, your project must address one of the objectives of the grant program from the seven focus areas eligible for funding.
- Culture and common identity
- Education and capacity building
- Democratic values and media freedom
- Public policy and institutional cooperation
- Environment and sustainable development
- Regional development and cooperation
- Social development and inclusion
Funding
Grants cover up to 100% of the project budget, with a maximum of 15% allocated to overhead costs.
Although Visegrad, Visegrad+ and Strategic Grants have no strict limitation for the size of the financial support you can apply for, the average project budget does not exceed 30.000,00 €.
Maximum project duration: 18 months
